Since 1st October 2021, child benefit is indexed. The basic monthly amount of the child benefits is currently EUR 299.86. (Amount valid from 01.09.2023 -Index 944,43)
In addition to this basic amount, there is a monthly age increase supplement of EUR 22.67 for children over 6 years of age and EUR 56.57 for children over 12 years of age.
- 0-5 years: 299.86 €
- 6-11 years: 299.86 + 22.67 = 322.53 €
- from 12 years on: 299.86 + 56.57 = 356.43 €
